The Ford Center in Downtown Evansville will again be packed with basketball fans from around the country.
This is the sixth year for the Ohio Valley Conference men’s and women’s basketball championships going on through Saturday.
It’s the first time the tri-state gets to watch a local team run for the hoops.
The University of Southern Indiana men’s team has a spot in the championship tournament in their first Division 1 season.
They tip off tonight at 9:00 against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
