Gibson County Central Dispatch received a call Sunday night just after 7:00 about an incident at the Diplomat Motel near Oakland City.
The witness reported that 27 year old Joshua Almy was outside their door, had a knife and was attempting to re-enter.
An Oakland City officer arrived on scene and arrested Almy at the caller’s door.
He was transported to the Gibson County jail and charged with battery.
He remains in custody on a $650 bond.
