A two week old baby has died and the parents have been charged with neglect.
Jacob Washington and Denaya Harris, both 21 years old told police on February 8 the newborn was having problems breathing and became unresponsive.
Multiple family members rendered aid, before he died on scene.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner says the cause of death was from abusive head trauma and multiple fractures throughout the infant’s body.
The child never received medical care for his injuries.
Both parents are in jail on no bond.
