Evansville Police officers were alerted by the Flock camera system of a stolen black Mercedes Wednesday night.
Officers attempted to stop the driver.
He was identified as 19 year old Jkyle Gibson.
He refused to stop, and jumped out while the vehicle was moving, then fled on foot.
After a 2 1/2 hour search, he was spotted riding a bicycle near Covert and Vann Avenues.
During the search an officer was punctured by a chain link fence.
Gibson is locked up inside the Vanderburgh County Jail.
