Investigators with the Indiana State Police made two arrests associated with the death of Laurel Jean Mitchell in 1975.
Fred Bandy Jr. and John Lehman, both 67 years old were taken into custody at their homes on Monday without incident.
The two are accused of murdering the teen 47 years ago in North Webster, Indiana.
She was last seen leaving work at the Epworth Forrest Church camp on August 6.
She was found the next day in a body of water.
A DNA sample taken from Laurel’s dress matched with a sample taken from Bandy last year.
Both men are in the Noble County Jail.
