Evansville fire units responded to an apartment fire about 4:40 this morning.
It happened on West Illinois Street and could be seen from the Lloyd Expressway.
Arriving firefighters could see flames shooting through the roof.
No injuries have been reported.
Fire officials say they have made several calls at the same area in the last month or so.
Officials say they are talking to a person of interest.
