Groundbreaking for a new sports complex took place in Henderson on Wednesday.
The field will be built near the Victory Christian Center on Airline Road.
Included in phase one are four 200 foot baseball and softball fields, one multi-purpose field, irrigation, concession stand, a maintenance building and parking lots.
The price tag for the sports complex is estimated at $12 million dollars.
