One tri-state family’s love for movies turned into reality in the 1970’s when Paul Stieler opened North Park Twin Cinemas.
He introduced the five plex theater in Newburgh in 1996.
IMAX was a game changer in 2004 and in 2022 Showplace Cinemas is celebrating 50 years.
When Paul passed in 2018, his son’s Mick and Mark took over and are re-branding the name to Showplace Entertainment.
The family would like to thank the community for helping them reach this milestone.
