Youth First was awarded $100,000 from the CenterPoint Energy Foundation and it will be used for mental health support.
Students at Delaware Elementary School and Glenwood Leadership Academy will benefit.
This gift will allow Youth First to provide school based social work services and prevention programs at the two schools.
CenterPoint officials says, this gift is part of our commitment to seeing communities thrive and seeing students reach their potential.
