The 2022 Indiana Emergency Response Conference Award dinner was held in Indianapolis on Friday.
This organization recognizes outstanding individuals and divisions in Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Special OPS and Emergency Management throughout the state.
Mike Connelly with the Evansville Fire Department was named Fire Chief of the Year.
Nicholas Adams with the McCutchanville Fire Department was named Volunteer Fire Chief of the year.
Ryan Bosecker from Scott Township Fire and EMS won Fire Officer of the year.
Evansville Central Dispatch also won an award.
Each Person is nominated by their peers.
