The “Warbirds” have returned to the Evansville Wartime Museum! The four vintage military aircraft landed today at Evansville Regional Airport, and will be available for the public to see at The Museum on Thursday, September 22nd.
The aircraft include:
B-29 Superfortress “FiFi”
B-24 Liberator “Diamond Lil”
PT-17 Boeing Stearman
Air Force One L-26B “Ike’s Bird” which is the first, and smallest Air Force One ever used.
