An offender that has been arrested 34 times in Vanderburgh County was caught coming out of the west side Aldi’s with over $400 worth of mostly meat around noon yesterday.
Officers observed a male running with the shopping cart behind Office Depot.
The suspect initially surrendered to a detective by laying on the ground.
Then he got up and started running again and located an hour and a half later at Elm and Hogue Roads.
Upon search the offender had vodka and banana cocktails in his pocket and told police that he wanted to smile for his jail photo.
He was arrested for the 35 time and booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail.
