An Evansville man was arrested after he called police several times without an emergency.
Police say 50 year old Scott Crooks called 38 times over two months and was well known for calling dispatch while drunk.
Crooks was offered medical assistance on numerous occasions, but would always refuse.
Earlier this month he made threatening comments about his own family, which he received a visit from police.
Officials say Crooks was arrested and charged with unlawful use of 911 service.
He has since bonded out of jail.
