Spectrum’s “Expanding Internet Across America” project will include Gibson and Posey counties, two areas that have inadequate internet service.
Right now, the only way for those residents to receive access to the web is to use hotspots, which are costly.
Spectrum officials say they’ll cover 6500 square miles to ensure kids can learn remotely.
The network will feature download speeds starting at 300 megabits per second.
The date of completion is not known at this time.
