Police were called to the 6600 block of East Oak Street for a child claiming he had been abused.
Shawn Miller and Stephanie Dicks were inside when police rang the doorbell.
Dick’s told them her son had run away and was lying.
The couple were hesitant to let officers inside the home, but EPD explained they had probable cause because they discovered bruising on the child’s wrists.
Miller shoved the officer once he made entry.
He was cuffed after they put him down with a stun gun.
The couple are in the Vanderburgh County jail only charged with resisting.
They could face more charges at a later date.
