Every year the Rotary of Evansville recognizes citizens for their outstanding civic services to our City.
This year the award went to Evansville’s “first couple” Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and his wife Carol McClintock.
Together they have etched a new entry in the history books.
He is Evansville’s first-ever three-term Republican mayor.
Carol has been by her husband’s side at events ranging from the clean-up of city parks and neighborhoods, to civic functions, to political events to black tie dinners.
Speakers at the event say the two have given much of their time and commitment to the city.
