The Evansville African American Museum hosts several events in celebration of Juneteenth.
Today at 5pm is the Baptisttown Culture and Arts festival with local vendors.
Tomorrow, Saturday, at 11am it’s the For the People community block party with music, food and fireworks.
On Sunday, at 4:30 it’s the Otters Negro League baseball game with local vendors, bounce houses and tee shirts.
Juneteenth is the holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
