A Vanderburgh County Jury has found Andrew Lee Barnett guilty of charges in connection with a shot fired at an Evansville police officer.
It happened on May 30 of 2020 in the 2700 block of Lodge Avenue when reports said there was a person with a gun.
An officer made contact with Barnett who ran away.
Another officer caught up with him and used his stun gun to no effect.
Barnett then turned and fired his gun at the officer.
The first officer then drew down and commanded Barnett to surrender, which he did.
Barnett was also found guilty to a firearm sentencing enhancement.
