The owner of the West Side’s Big Top restaurant is no longer looking for artists to renew the business’s sign.
Instead, Joe Hardesy is looking for a curator to help restore the sign that has been a west-side staple for decades.
The business will also return the sign’s arm movement that was part of its original presentation.
Building restoration at Big Top is already under way.
