A Muhlenberg jeweler made an expensive mistake for one woman.
Jessica Piper had taken her wedding ring, worth $6,200 to Kay Jeweler’s in Bowling Green for a small repair.
When her husband went to pick it up, it wasn’t there.
It was learned after a police investigation that an employee at the jewelry store, mistakenly given it to someone else.
Instead of bringing the ring back to the store, the person sold it on social media.
Jessica says her ring finger feels bare without it.
Her ring was a symbol of many years growing up together.
The Piper’s meet in the eighth grade.
