A Hopkins County jail inmate is is back in jail after a brief escape.
35 year old Michael Harris reportedly stole a black Ford Ranger farm truck about 2pm Sunday afternoon.
Harris was a participant in the county’s second chance work program.
He’s a state prisoner from Covington who was convicted of non-violent drug charges.
He was found Monday morning and returned to the Hopkins County Jail where he’ll face other charges.
