The Green River Kiwanis has named its 2022 Firefighter of the Year.
He is Firefighter Robert Ralph, a 23-year veteran of the Evansville Fire Department.
Ralph is assigned to Station 14 at Lincoln Avenue and Willow Road Ralph is receiving a wall plaque, a check for $100, an evening out from his union, and his face on a billboard whose location will be announced later.
Ralph is the 40th recipient of the award.
