Former employees of Roca Bar North have yet to receive their W-2’s nearly two months after the January 31 deadline.
The restaurant closed unexpectedly in October 2021 by previous owners Steve hammer and Derek Ungethiem.
According to Ungethiem, he and Hammer were supposed to work together to ensure all former employees received their W-2’s on time, but Hammer isn’t holding up his end of the deal.
The IRS has stiff financial penalties in place if W-2’s are not sent by August 1.
