Daviess County Police responded to a man passed out behind the wheel around 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
This was at the intersection of Kentucky 231 and Burton Road.
Officials say, when they approached 29 year old Garry Neal’s vehicle he woke up and drove off.
Police chased Neal for several miles until he crashed into a trailer in a driveway.
His vehicle became stuck from damage and heavy mud.
Police say, that’s when Neal took off on foot.
Once arrested, he was found to have five outstanding warrants.
Neal is now facing 17 new charges.
