Henderson police attempted to make a traffic stop at the intersection of 3rd and Carlisle street Saturday night.
When police turned on their emergency lights, the driver sped off.
Authorities say, they were able to get his license plate number and identified the driver as 35 year old Brent Smith.
He eventually pulled into his driveway and that’s where he was arrested.
Smith is charged with disregarding a stop sign, fleeing police, no operators or moped license, driving while intoxicated and trafficking marijuana.
