Family and friends can now visit their love ones in long term care facilities.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear signed a pandemic related bill on Tuesday.
The purpose is to prevent nursing home residents from feeling isolated from their families as the Covid-19 pandemic continues.
The bill allows in person visits from relatives, legal guardians, friends, caregivers or volunteers.
Once inside the facility visitors will have to follow safety protocols.
