The Henderson County Sheriff’s office responded to a fatal accident at the intersection of US 60 and KY 1078 North Tuesday morning.
Police say, a van was headed southbound, and was hit, when the driver pulled into the path of a truck going westbound on US 60.
The coroner says, 61 year old Loretta Duncan died at the scene.
Her passenger, Ernest Duncan received injuries from crash and was taken to the hospital.
The driver of the truck wasn’t injured.
