New Year’s Day didn’t go as planned for two Evansville residents.
Police say, 42 year old Shawn Stehlik and passenger 34 year old Cody Clark were stopped for speeding.
While speaking with the occupants, Deputies determined that the driver had a suspended driver’s license and the passenger provided false identification.
Police say during the search they found meth, heroin, fentanyl, a gun, and $2,000 cash.
Stehlik and Clark face several charges including dealing narcotics.
They are in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
