The woman accused of leaving the scene of a deadly hit and run accident was sentenced to 18 years.
Amanda Huff hit and killed Eugene Hufnagel in November of 2019 while under the influence of a controlled substance.
Hufnagel was on a three wheeled scooter near the intersection of Cherry and Washington in Dale, when he was struck by Huffs vehicle.
The prosecutor says 15 years of the the sentence will be behind bars, and three years on probation.
The judge also ordered her to be in a substance abuse program.
