Jeff Deig and Dr Mark Browning of the Evansville Wartime Museum dropped by to chat about how the museum stepped up to fill in for the LST-325 for our annual Veterans Day breakfast as the ship is readied for transition to its new location on Riverside Drive. The Evansville Wartime Museum is located near the airport on Old Petersburg Road behind the Dairy Queen just north of Lynch Road on US 41. (Last hanger on the right).
The breakfast is free to all veterans and active duty personnel and their families. Chow starts about 7 and goes until it runs out about 9 or so.
The museum will be open until noon on 11/11 so you’ll have an opportunity to check it out for free on Veterans Day.
And save the date for the annual Hanger Bash at the Evansville Wartime Museum! It’s happening 11/16.
