A sentence of 45 years was given to a Posey County man on Thursday.
32 year old, Kyler Del Butler was found guilty of Aggravated Battery, Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon, and Criminal Recklessness.
The incident happened in Mt. Vernon in the area of 6th and Wood Streets in January 2018.
He was identified as the gunman that fired an AR style rifle at an occupied vehicle.
Eleven shots were fired hitting one passenger in the shoulder.
Butler went on the run, but was later arrested in Las Vegas by U.S. Marshals.
