Thanksgiving is the first day the Hadi Shrine Circus entertains the crowds with their many acts.
Two tri-state woman believe that the animals are being tortured into performing unnatural tricks.
That’s why they are petitioning to make the circus animal free.
Hadi Shriner Dale Thomas, says they produce their own acts, and do not put up with poor trainers.
The petitioners have spoken to a council member and is willing to hear their concerns.
Currently there are 109 partial or full bans on performing animals across 34 states.
