Evansville police respond to the 3200 block of Vann Park Boulevard where a 9-1-1 caller reported finding a family member unresponsive.
Officers determined that the victim had been stabbed and was beyond help.
A juvenile was found asleep and unharmed in the same apartment.
Officer Taylor Merris says a person of interest was taken into custody and is being questioned.
