Two people are dead, including one shot by authorities at a home in the 1800 block of Stinson Avenue early this morning.
E-P-D Sgt Anna Gray says the call came in around 11pm from Indiana State Police as a murder-kidnapping.
Arriving officers called for people inside the home to come outside .
One came out with what looked like a gun in his hand.
He did not follow commands and was uncooperative. The man was then shot several times and killed.
Another person was found dead inside the home but it’s not clear how that person died.
Several others inside are safe. Investigators are awaiting a warrant to search the house.
