More than 3,000 Centerpoint energy customers in Evansville were without power yesterday (Thursday).
The CenterPoint map showed the outage happened in a large area that surrounds Deaconess Midtown.
CenterPoint officials said yesterday they planned to check for any issues after a contract worker was shocked during an incident earlier in the day.
The worker was taken to the hospital, but they didn’t know the severity of his injuries.
