C&I Electronics is hosting a free recycling event with the Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District on Saturday, Nov. 6th from 8 am – 2 pm at the Civic Center parking lot, located at 9th Street & Walnut Street.
This event is open to all Vanderburgh County residents and is a great way for the community to safely recycle their electronics.
If you have any old laptops or cell phones that you’ve been avoiding recycling due to sensitive information being stored on them, Fall Recycling Day is the perfect time to properly dispose of them.
A variety of electronics will be accepted at no charge, including:
- Computers & Computer-Related Equipment
- Laptops
- Servers
- Routers
- Switches
- Modems
- Cables/Cords
- Power Adapters
- Gaming Devices
- Cell Phones & Tablets
- DVD Players
- DVR/TiVo Devices
- Televisions & Monitors
- eReaders
- Digital Cameras
- Desktop Printers & Fax Machines

Items that will not be accepted:
- Light bulbs from lighting fixtures
- Electronic or electrical components containing PCB’s
- Anything containing Hazardous Waste (We are not licensed as a hazardous waste company)
- White goods and appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers, Microwaves
- Mercury-containing devices such as thermostats, mercury switches, light bulbs, thermometers
Staff will be available to unload vehicles. Please plan to wear a mask and if possible, stay in your car. For expediency and ease of unloading, please place items in cargo area, trunk, or truck bed.
