It was the second time recently that a sprinkler system stopped a fire from spreading.
Evansville fire crews were called to an industrial building shortly before noon in the 3000 block of Claremont Ave in Evansville.
Officials say they put out the fire with the help of the building’s sprinkler system, and everyone was back to work in about an hour.
Just last week, there was a fire at the former Whirlpool plant with a similar outcome due to a sprinkler system.
