Newsweek Magazine reports that an Indiana man was jailed for calling 9-1-1 and told dispatchers he was tired.
61 year old Daniel Schroeder called 9-1-1 four times last Thursday with the same tiring message.
But that wasn’t the first time the Evansville man called in his fatigued complaint.
On September 11 he called the emergency line to report that a female relative wasn’t following his rule.
In court on charges he was sentenced o six months in jail but the judge suspended he sentence if Schroeder promised to stop calling.
He broke his promise the very next day, and now gets to rest for 60 days in the cooler.
