Vanderburgh County deputies make an arrest in connection with a woman found shot on Diamond Avenue.
An Evansville police officer found the woman on the side of the road between St. Joseph and Kratzville Road.
She had been shot multiple times.
Deputies developed a suspect in the person of 31 year old Christopher Britton.
After being interviewed at the sheriff’s office,Britton was arrested on a charge of attempted murder.
