Owensboro police investigated three early morning shootings over the holiday weekend, one of them fatal.
That one happened just before 4am Sunday in the 2200 block of West Second Street.
Officers found two men with multiple gun shot wounds near a parked car.
One of them, 21 year old Jarnell Carter of Evansville, died at the scene.
The other was hospitalized with potentially life threatening injuries.
Officers say two other shootings could be connected to this one.
