The man driving the tractor that damaged the track rail at Ellis Park last week has died.
Dorris “Heavy” Watson had started working for Ellis Park in 1997.
He had a medical emergency that caused the accident.
Ellis Park officials say that Heavy will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete
