The Coast Guard says a cruise riverboat that got stuck in Lake Barkley more than a week ago has been refloated.
The American Jazz had 1230 passengers and more than 50 crew members aboard when it ran hard aground on a sand bar.
The ship had been on a seven-night cruise between Memphis and Nashville.
On Friday, crew members set the ship’s engines on full reverse for about 3 hours while a tow-boat pushed on it.
The ship worked itself loose about 3:30pm.
