Evansville police are asking help from the public to identify a suspect in a newel heist last week.
They say the theft took place at the Kay Jeweler on June 18 at about 5pm.
It involved the theft of items valued at over $17,000.
The suspect walked out of the store with the items and police have been unable to locate him.
