A project to create a new city flag for Evansville has been shut down without a resolution.
As we reported last week, organizers had thrown the program open to public voting with four finalists up for the Choosing.
The public voting has now been stopped.
In a written statement issued on Tuesday, organizers said they stopped the project because city officials didn’t support the four deigns.
Those organizers said they would not be available for comment
