Indiana is reinstating the requirement that people receiving unemployment benefits will have to show they are actively searching for work.
That policy was discontinued soon after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the state.
Governor Eric Holcomb signed an executive order yesterday (Tuesday) that resumes the search requirement June 1.
Indiana is joining several other states including Kentucky creating more requirements for people to stay on unemployment.
