American Airlines is putting more flights on the runway, adding more service from Evansville Regional Airport to Chicago O’Hare.
Those are the regional jet flights that were suspended as the pandemic became a concern last year.
Now, with more people being vaccinated, air travel is seeing a huge increase in passengers.
Nationwide, TSA workers report screening more than a million people last Sunday.
The first added American Eagle flight took off from Evansville Regional at 7am
