Top Hoosier election officials say Republican Secretary of State Holli Sullivan has violated state political fundraising rules with the launch of her 2022 election campaign.
She requested contributions when she announced her campaign on Monday.
The issue with that is that it was five days earlier than allowed under law changes Governor Holcomb signed the same day.
Her campaign says that they made an improper solicitation and that those contributions have been returned.
