Vanderburgh sheriffs deputies and E-P-D units will be patrolling more intensely along school bus routes starting today.
They’ll be following the buses from to time looking for dangerous driving around them.
The main thing they’ll be looking for is stop-arm violations, but they’re also looking for speeders in school zones and to keep kids safe from erratic drivers.
The Indiana Criminal Justice institute is paying overtime for officers who join in the effort.
