Ascension St. Vincent is giving away free, at-home, colon cancer screening kits throughout April.
They’re available to anyone aged 45 to 75 living in Evansville.
You must call to reserve one.
Colon cancer is the third most common cancer in both men and women, according to the American Cancer Society.
Hospital officials say early detection is a key step in beating cancer.
