Ruffing released as UE womens coach

Matt Ruffing is out as head coach of the U-E Aces women’s basketball team. In making the announcement, Director of Athletics Mark Spencer said ” …a change in leadership is necessary at this time. Under Coach Ruffing’s leadership, we were regrettably unable to achieve the level of competitive excellence that we expect at the University of Evansville.” School officials say they plan to conduct a nationwide search for a new coach.
